Step 1

Preliminary: Gather project information

Our first rule is transparency. At the start of each project, our goal is to ensure that expectations are clear and that we’re on both on the same page. We will schedule an initial meeting to discuss the project requirements, budget, timeline and to determine if we are the right fit.

Step 2

Discovery: Research, strategy, and overall direction

Great design starts with a great strategy and that strategy is determined by hours of research and understanding your project’s main purpose. We do a deep dive into the project and brand requirements to truly understand the objective, scope of work, and audience. We walk through this process collaboratively to ensure that our vision aligns with yours. The goal of step 1 is to determine the visual direction of your project and design strategy. In other words, we build the structure, before we decorate the house!

Step 3

Exploration: Concept development, sketches, and prototypes

We take what we’ve learned from the discovery and design concepts from varying points of view. Our philosophy is to provide a truly efficient process by presenting multiple ideas from the start. We explore the different options that align with the scope of work. Depending on the project, this can come in varying forms of sketches, prototypes, sample pages, or wireframes. We’ll present multiple options to guide you down the right path for the project and to ensure we complete the deliverables within budget.

Step 4

Execution & Refinement: Application and collaborative feedback 

Creativity is collaborative. After we explore, it’s time to choose the path forward and execute the project deliverable. We work collaboratively to refine the smaller details and ensure the project requirements are met. We allocate a minimum set of revisions to every project. This allows room within the budget to make minor text or design adjustments, resolve last-minute issues, and ensure overall client satisfaction. We do everything we need to do to ensure the final product is not only beautiful but functional.

Step 5

Finalize: Delivery of the final product

Once we have your final approval, we prepare and deliver the required file formats to printers or hit “launch” on your website. We send over everything you need into a neatly packaged folder with your name on it. Any outstanding items are addressed immediately and, if we’ve done our job, we’ve turned your vision into reality and we’ve become great work friends!
