Refreshing and modern report design for a local Alberta county

Wheatland County is a municipal district in south-central Alberta. In 2017, we were asked to design their first annual Environmental Activity Report. The clients goals were to have a professional looking report and to attract a new generation of readers and stakeholders. We took their colour palette, content, and library of gorgeous images to create image heavy spreads. We added a graphic element throughout that symbolized wheat fields transitioning through the pages. Finally we created custom infographics and icons to depict the reports data. The report was well received by the community and they decided to use the same design for consecutive years. Our design of the report also received an Applied Arts Community Award in 2018.
