A series of custom illustrations for a mental health campaign.

Alberta School Employee Benefit Program provides sustainable, holistic health benefits and services for Alberta's public education sector. They’ve been apart of the Alberta Education community since 1968 and are always adapting and looking for new ways to reach and support covered members.

ASEBP reached out to us looking for a quarterly series of illustrations for their “It Takes A Village” mental health campaign. Each month in the year focusing on a different theme related to mental health support and well-being. This year-long campaign set the foundation for being open about one’s own mental health, the ongoing toll of COVID-19 and encouraging members to make positive choices that support their mental health and well-being, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The campaign began with the foundational artwork. We then created custom illustrations for each quarter with a different area of focus: 1) Heart health & Physical Activity 2) Social Connection 3) Reconnecting with society and unwinding 4) Maintaining a healthy body, mind and soul. All campaign artwork was adapted and resized for all of ASEBP’s social media channels as well as posters to ensure they were able to clearly reach their audience on a variety of traditional and digital platforms.
