Packaging design for wildcrafted artisan skincare.

Prairie Soap Shack is a local all-natural soap and skincare brand from central Alberta. They strive to create healthy + toxin-free products with the highest quality oils ensuring their products are free from synthetic fragrances and artificial colours. The local ingredients to make their products are often pulled from wildcrafting plants, herbs and resin or growing herbs in their own organic garden. With knowledge in herbalism training, they manage to turn ancient practices into a modern way of life.

Prairie Soap Shack reached out to us to design their 3 step skincare packaging, and we were delighted. We illustrated flowers for each step of the product line and color-coded the products for ease of use. We designed and sourced the printing for the packaging, and we also gave the product line a visual identity system to use moving forward. A year later, they expanded their line and released the Rejuvenation eye serum with sea buckthorn. Using the previous design system we created, we illustrated and designed the packaging to seamlessly blend in with the rest of the skincare collection.

We’ve also had the opportunity to redesign their box & sleeve packaging for their artisan soap bars and gift box set for their mini-soap sampler. We applied a similar hand-drawn floral aesthetic and designed a pattern using all custom-illustrated florals.
